Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the After mobile application ("After," "the app," "we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using After, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
After is a post-breakup transformation app designed to help users rebuild themselves after a breakup, divorce, or toxic relationship. The app provides tools including a Transformation Score, daily check-ins, a 12-week healing plan, journaling, an unsent letter space, a vision board with AI image generation, SOS mode, and shareable score cards.
After is a self-help tool and is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, or counseling. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or a crisis helpline immediately.
You must be at least 13 years old to use After. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
After offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. During a free trial, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID account. We do not collect, store, or process any payment information directly. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms of payment. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary in other countries based on App Store pricing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that period ends. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.
Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as all purchases are processed through the App Store. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
You agree to use After only for its intended purpose of personal self-improvement and healing. You agree not to:
All content, design, graphics, text, features, and software within After are the intellectual property of After App and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our prior written consent.
Content you create within the app (journal entries, letters, check-in data) remains yours. By using the AI image generation feature, you acknowledge that AI-generated images are produced by third-party services and may be subject to their respective terms.
After is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
After is not a medical or mental health service. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. The content within the app is for informational and self-help purposes only. Always seek the advice of a qualified mental health provider with any questions regarding a mental health condition.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, After App and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the app, regardless of the theory of liability.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Your use of After is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All personal data you enter into the app is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Since your data is stored locally, it will remain on your device unless you delete the app.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
